The 48 waterfalls of Takihata

The Takihata area is dotted with a multitude of waterfalls, such as Kotaki, Otaki, Gokodaki, Gongendaki, Chigodaki, and Arataki, and historically has been known for "the 48 waterfalls of Takihata".　The "Kotaki" is the largest of them all, and is found in the area behind the Kotakiji temple, which is said to have been named after the waterfall.　Nearby is a campsite, which resonates with the voices of the many people who flock there in pursuit of the outdoors.
