The evening cherry blossoms of Nagano Park

Across the Ishikawa River, which runs along the east side of Kawachinagano station, a bright vermilion corridor with a blue roof can be seen.　Surrounding this corridor lies a park, operated by the prefectural government, which takes full advantage of its surroundings to emphasis its natural beauty.　 From inside the park, you can survey all of the inner city.　 In spring, the mountains are sheathed in cherry blossoms, which are illuminated at night in the park to create one of Kawachinagano's most special attractions.
